Orkut is hacked ( 25^th September) .. By brazil hackers.. So today/at least next 2-3days don’t visit anyone’s profile. And try to unjoin all communities.

Follow the below instructions & try to implement all stuff

scrap “Bom Sabado!” it loads a small iFrame code. It load javascript form http://tptools.org/worm.jsSolution

For temporary basis delete cookies. Change your Orkut password. Do not use Orkut for some time. If you want to use orkut then follow these steps:

Open your Host file with notepad

[How to search Host file …so here is the path

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc]

host file :

Windows 95/98/Me c:\windows\hosts

Windows NT/2000/XP Pro c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Windows XP Home c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Win 7 – C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Then open it with NOTEPAD

got to the end to that file

Add this code at the end

(Remove # symbol while writing in host file !! from . and org/com)

Click saves option.

Bom Sabado ke side effects:

who all are reading this scrap even in their profile, their cookies are also stolen and so they are also posting scrap automatically to their friend list same scrap as bomb something like :(

This attack now seems to be rapidly spreading & people are customizing the .js file to make their own cookie stealing scripts .It mean’s status are automatically updated in some profile. It’s their flag of Brazil. Already Google team are working on it.

By the way Bom Sabado means Good Saturday

Currently what u should do is
For solution follow these steps:

1. Immediately change your password and security question{ including secondary email and mobile number if they also got changed.) This will solve the problem.

2. Find out whether some communities has been joined automatically. if yeah, do remove them.

4. Always remember these points :

Do not ever login to any site rather than www.orkut.com

Do not ever run any javascripts while logged into your orkut account

Never use any flooder in your account

Do not ever share your password with anyone else and keep changing your password regularly.

Do not ever click suspicious link while logged into Orkut a/c. if you are curious you can copy the link and check them in



& for other browser after cleaning it's browser's cookie and cache.

Do not ever install any suspicious script and ALWAYS Disable the GM before logging in to orkut.

Do your mobile verification also, so that you can get back your a/c if hacker doesn't change the mobile number there.

Install a good Update Antivirus and Anti Key logger and keep your system free from Key loggers and backdoor Trojans.

Use Virtual Keyboard to enter your password for more security. KIS 2010 provides it and there are many other Virtual keyboards available.
